Pathway link RAG-TSC

Rag GTPases TSC1/TSC2

Rag GTPases recruits TSC1/TSC2.

Without amino acids, the Rags bring the TSC brake to the lysosome.

When amino acids run out, the Rag GTPases also pull the TSC complex onto the lysosome, where it can switch Rheb off and help shut mTORC1 down.

The conditions it holds under

Mammalian cell lines under acute amino-acid withdrawal; the contribution of this route in tissues is not established. Single study.
