First author on the 2013 crystal structure of the mTOR kinase (YAN2013), revealing the FRB 'gatekeeper' domain. First author again in 2017 (YAN2017) on cryo-EM/crystal structures of intact mTORC1 bound to RHEB and PRAS40, revealing the allosteric activation/inhibition mechanism.
