DESCRIPTION:GRC on Lysosomal Diseases\, themed "Understanding Lysosomes to 
 Enable Innovative Therapies". Five-day closed meeting on unpublished work 
 spanning fundamental lysosomal biology and therapy development for lysosom
 al storage disorders. Preceded by the associated Gordon Research Seminar (
 15-16 May 2027). Application deadline 18 April 2027.\n\nWhy it matters for
  mTOR (★): Indirect but real: the lysosomal surface is the platform on w
 hich mTORC1 is activated (Rag GTPases\, Ragulator/LAMTOR\, v-ATPase)\, and
  mTORC1 in turn controls the TFEB/TFE3 lysosomal-biogenesis program. Lysos
 omal-storage-disease biology and mTORC1-TFEB signalling are studied by ove
 rlapping groups (e.g. Ballabio\, Zoncu\, Ferguson\, Settembre). Scope note
 : this is a lysosome-biology meeting\, not an mTOR-centred one – mTOR co
 ntent will be a subset of the program. Tier is provisional: the programme 
 is unpublished as of 2026-08-15 (due 19 August 2026)\, so relevance is cur
 rently inferred from the community rather than from stated sessions\; revi
